EPIC had a variety of brand concepts, different naming, creative explorations and strategies explored before the final ideation.
The team had our favourite name and we had a simple concept we enjoyed the most during the developmental creative process.
The best idea was in it's simplest form was a 30 second journey through glass letterforms – where you would experience the ambience of changing light, passing through spectrum’s of colour and into fields of sound to reveal EPIC by VUE.
Directed to conceptually show a visual journey of anticipation and to capture the moment of excitement before a film premiere. The hero film and master graphics are made to show how outstanding sounds feels and how technical advantages like breathtaking colour can immerse.
This was done so it didn’t feel like another tech brand which often feel adversely masculine or inanely technicalor gadgety.
VUE wanted EPIC to feel exciting for all cinema lovers.

The creative process would look at various naming, conceptual designs, visual storyboards and brand positioning strategies.
EPIC was made for all.
All that want to experience film the way the directors wanted the audience to see it.
The design leans into the cinematic feeling of anticipation and excite excitement. Focusing on bringing out the brands colour with an ethereal viewpoint on the big screen.
Rather than focusing on being a tech brand which are often synonymous with each other.
